Take on the 3Cs Challenge!

Inspired by his own feats of fundraising, Rosemere supporter Alan Taylor has set up his own challenge events company, to help other would-be fundraisers take part in specialist outdoors challenges.

Alan Taylor bike teamAlan is a regular runner and has a background of organising race events, from 5k to marathon distances. He himself has raised thousands of pounds for Rosemere and other good causes through various sporting challenges; as well as undertaking all of the logistical and support planning for, he’s completed the national Three Peaks (cycling between them instead of driving), he’s cycled from Land’s End to John-o-Groats, and he’s taken on the coast to coast trail from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay.

He’s now using his enthusiasm for adventure, his knowledge of the outdoors, and his logistical expertise to organise similar tours for others, to help them undertake their own fundraising challenge of a lifetime. Although these events aren't specifically 'for' Rosemere, we'd love people to choose to support us through them by way of sponsorship!

The 3C Tours offer a number of guided, multi-day cycling, canoeing and climbing expeditions across the stunning Lancashire and Lake District countryside, of differing distances. Although you will need to have a certain level of physical fitness to complete the challenges, full support will be given by Alan and his team, and the cost of the challenges includes hotel accommodation and breakfast, and the use of canoes and other equipment, and more. To find out more about how to get involved, and start planning your next charity challenge, please take a look at his website and contact him directly with any queries!
