Apply for Funding
The aim of Rosemere Cancer Foundation is to support the provision of cancer treatment for the benefit of patients in Lancashire and South Cumbria by raising additional funding for the following activities:
- Oncology related research undertaken by NHS staff
- Projects that improve the welfare of cancer patients
- Additional equipment over and above that which is necessary for the delivery of service (which would be funded by the NHS)
- Developmental training for oncology staff
The Foundation therefore has a remit to fund projects in Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Blackpool Fylde & Wyre NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust and East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Rosemere is currently operating two funding application windows a year for applications over £5,000. The funding windows are in January and July and any application should be submitted to daniel.hill@lthtr.nhs.uk by the second Monday of the respective months. Funding applications for under £5,000 can be submitted throughout the year. All applications are subject to funding criteria and the availability of charitable funds.

If your application is for research funding, it may take longer for a funding decision to be made, as additional information and guidance may be required before funding can be agreed.
