This year’s event, which is returning to its regular April date (Saturday the 23rd this year) following two years of restrictions, is our 14th annual fundraising walk from Chorley General to Royal Preston.
Over the years, thousands of people have walked the approximately 11-mile route to collectively raise more than £300,000 for our projects, which have benefitted cancer patients cared for in NHS hospitals throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria. With Eric Wright’s corporate donation, which covers event costs, we can make sure that the whole £15 entry fee and any sponsorship raised by our walkers comes to the charity to support these life-changing projects.
