Kirkby Lonsdale Shoppers Boost Appeal

A store collection on the Saturday before Christmas at Booths’ Kirkby Lonsdale store raised £920 for Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

The collection was taken up by members of Lunesdale Rotary Club, who parked their Santa sleigh at the supermarket’s entrance. President Elect Mr Hugh Sweenie presented the donation to Rosemere’s Cathy Skidmore.

The money will go to Rosemere's 20 Years Anniversary Appeal, which is funding a trio of ground-breaking projects celebrating the 20th anniversary of the opening of Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust’s Rosemere Cancer Centre at the Royal Preston Hospital.

Chamber Donation

Earlier this year the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce held their annual President's Summer Ball at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel. There was a raffle and auction with proceeds split between us & East Lancashire Hospice.

Croston WI Invite Rosemere

Head of Fundraising Dan Hill visited Croston Women's Institute to give a presentation on the charitable work of Rosemere along with accepting a generous donation towards our 20th Anniversary Appeal. He was joined by new Area Fundraiser Becca Hall as she learns the ropes. Here they are accepting the donation from group President Anne Nicholson.

Dental Partnership Pays Dividends

Over the past 12 months Briercliffe Road Dental Practice have supported Rosemere as their charity of the year partner. They've held regular raffles, sold hand-made cards, taken part in Rosemere events like Walk in the Dark and had a collection tin on their counter.

Their combined efforts have raised a staggering total of £2120.71. We are very grateful to the whole team for their support. Why not choose Rosemere as your charity partner in 2018?!

Cheers to a Rosebeer

When it comes to raising a glass to toast “good health”, mates John Clegg and Chris Tulloch who recently took on the lease for The Talbot pub in Euxton have the perfect reason to.

Following a £320,000 refurbishment they decided to launch a beer in support of Rosemere. This very special cask ale is known as the 'Rosebeer' with 10p from every pint donated to Rosemere. Thank you for your ongoing support.
