Cross Bay Walk 2025
Our popular Cross Bay Walk is back!
This year, we are taking on our annual trek across Morecambe Bay on Sunday 22nd June, setting off promptly at 2.45pm.
Please note: Online entries for this event will close at 1pm on Thursday 19th June, but you can sign up at the Rosemere gazebo on the shore at Arnside on the day!

Would you like to join us for this iconic charity challenge? Entries cost £15 for adults, or £10 for those aged 8-15, plus you’ll have the option to add a Rosemere charity t-shirt when you register for an additional £6.00
Always a great event whatever the weather, the route from Arnside to Grange with King’s Guide Michael Wilson via the scenic sands, streams and grassy shores of Morecambe Bay can vary between five and eight miles long, subject to the tide and weather conditions on the day. It normally takes three to four hours to complete the walk, and you can even bring the dog, for a £1 donation on the day.
It may involve some wading through deep water, and the terrain can be rough, so unfortunately it’s not suitable for those with limited mobility, wheelchairs or pushchairs, or very small children – we recommend a minimum age of eight for children taking part.
There is parking available in Grange and we do provide a coach from there on the morning of the walk at a cost of £6, to take you to the start line at Arnside. Please note that this MUST be booked in advance using this link.
Alternatively, you can park at Arnside and get your own transport back to your car at the end; we recommend the regular public train, although please do be sure to check times beforehand.
If you have any queries about the walk at all, please get in touch – call us on 01772 522913 or email rosemere@lthtr.nhs.uk. We’d love you to join us!

This event has been kindly sponsored by Day Architectural, Day Project Management and Day Cost Management
