Sue Heron, Marketing Director of Furness Building Society and Sharon Jones, Manager of the Preston Branch, joined Consultant Anaesthetist Dr Sudheera Reddy and Service Manager, Angela Fisher for the formal opening of the new Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) Suite this morning.
The new facility helps to more accurately measure overall fitness for surgery, potentially allowing cancer patients access to lifesaving treatment. The equipment and refurbishment of the suite were funded by the Rosemere Cancer Foundation with a donation of £27,320 from the Furness Building Society who operate a Rosemere Affinity Account and made a donation equal to 1% of the total amount invested in 2016.
