A home-from-home private room where cancer patients and those closest to them can share precious final hours was officially opened at Furness General Hospital.
Back by popular demand is our Santa Dash/Stroll. This year, we have two locations, Burnley and Clitheroe and the the event has the support of the Up and Active team which co-ordinates exercise and fitness events throughout East Lancashire. We are hopeful this will help boost numbers taking part.
Here are some of the 40 odd cyclists who will be cycling the French Alps next September for Rosemere & Blackburn Youth Zone. They paid an early morning visit to us on Saturday to find out more about the huge impact their fundraising will make for local cancer patients. Jamie a partner at St James's Place Foundation Office in Manchester visited Rosemere yesterday to hand over a grant for £2000 from their trust and find out more about the Restorative Dental Care equipment which is being funded with their support.
Patients that undergo surgery, receive radiotherapy or chemotherapy treatments often require significant post treatment support from the dental team.
