Leave a Gift in Your Will

Making a Will and keeping it up to date is essential to providing for your loved ones and making sure that your assets are distributed according to your wishes. After ensuring your loved ones are looked after, a gift of just 1% of your estate could make an incredible difference to many across Lancashire and South Cumbria undergoing treatment for cancer.

What difference will my gift make?

Leaving a gift in your Will to the Rosemere Cancer Foundation will help ensure that your family, friends and colleagues will get the very best care possible if they are faced with a cancer diagnosis. You can be sure that your gift, however small, will make a real difference to the treatment and care of local cancer patients in Lancashire and South Cumbria for years to come.

What can I leave?

There are three types of gift that you can leave in your Will to Rosemere Cancer Foundation, they are:

  • A residuary gift – this is the remainder of your estate, or a percentage of after all other gifts and commitments from the estate have been paid. This can be a good way to ensure your loved ones are looked after first, with anything left over donated to charity.
  • A pecuniary gift – this is a cash gift of a specific amount.
  • A specific item – this can be a gift of personal possessions such as jewellery, land or property or specified items such as shares or contents of a bank account.
