It's been a busy few weeks with Rosemere projects being launched or completed. Here is another excellent project that has been completed at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. Our Chief Officer Dan Hill, Kila Redfearn of Blue Skies Hospitals Fund, Lead Cancer Nurse Jackie Brunton and members of the wider Oncology team celebrated the recent relaunch of the Windmill Unit.
The Windmill Unit is the dedicated oncology and haematology outpatient department for the Fylde Coast that originally opened in 2003. £26,000 was invested by Rosemere and Blue Skies that covered the costs of decorating, re-flooring and providing modern and comfortable furniture for the unit. The refurbishment has created a modern facility providing a relaxing and comfortable environment to improve patient experience and boost the morale of staff working there.
